The outstanding properties of BÖHLER special steels require the right selection, processing, and heat treatment to reach their full potential. This means knowledge of the materials, which we offer our global customers and employees in various steel academy courses.
The training session contents are focused on special steel production, advantages and properties of specific steel groups, and processing and treatment notes for the cost-effective use of tool and high-speed steels. Every year about 500 customers and employees participate in these training sessions and, during their stay in Kapfenberg, not only get to know the plant but also enjoy many recreational attractions and culinary highlights of the region.
